In the show a girl named Lea Nieve Opale becomes a mermaid from her genectics in her family. From then on her best friend, Nicole Tempete Aigue-marine, becomes one too when she finds the same gene. Though it seems like being a mermaid is all fun and games it's not. Keeping a secret this BIG can be very hard. Though sometimes it can get serious the girls still manage to have fun and enjoy being mermaids. Ohh, did I mention that the Full Moon makes it even harder??
About The Characters!!!
Lea Nieve Opale (middle name is snow in Spanish. Last name opal in Italian) She is a head strong girl who usually tries to fix problems. She loves adventure and is smart (sometimes). She is good at leading in the right direction.But sometimes her voice(when she sings) can be dangerous. Her favorite color is Aquamarine. She loves to swim and sing.
(Alisia)Nicole Tempete Aigue-Marine (middle name is strom in French. Last name is aquamarine in French). She is a down-to-earth girl who is sometimes the cause of problems. She loves to live in the moment and tries to have fun as much as she can. Her favorite color is Bubble Blue and she likes to swim and draw or paint pictures.
These real life BFF's have been friends for 6 years. Te'a recently moved 3hrs away from Alisia, but still stay in touch and film as much as they can. Though the are obviously different they share many similar things. They both have been fastinated with mermaids since they were little. Finally, they get to do what they love. Act, Edit, Perform, and experience being a mermaid.
